help growing watermelons?
so about 2 weeks ago i bought a jiffy kids garden watermelon thing. the only thing the cup said was to add water and thats all i did and left it on my kitchen windowsil. well i put too much water in it at first and the cup is kinda moldey and i was wondering if i need to put them in something else? the plants started growing (there is three of them each about 2 inches tall) but the leaves are starting to get brownish on the tips of the leaves. is there a way to make them green again and to keep them healthy?
i dont know how to grow anything i tried last year with some other little kit that i bought at target but the bunnys ate them as soon as i put them outside and this year i dont want that to happen. so i was hoping for tips/advise on that as well.

Wild animals are going to eat anything you grow. Make a fence out of chicken wire. Put the wire into the ground about 6 to 8 inches deep so the animals will not go under the wire to get to your garden. Some gardeners even put the chicken wire across the top of the fence. You don’t need to make an expensive gate, just over lap the fencing and tie it shut. Make sure they cannot get in at the bottom where you close your “gate”.
